It's all about the Vibe!


Do you ever meet someone and feel an instant boost of positivity and happiness, as if everything is good and life is chill so much so that you end up saying, “there’s something with you because whenever I am around, I feel good” NO, I am not talking about your crush here (caught you ;))I am talking about people in general.

There are some people around whom we feel happy, then there are some around whom we feel neutral i.e., nothing good, nothing bad; and then there are some around whom we feel instantly low, and drained, there is anxiety creeping in and we feel that someone has put a big marble on us. Have you ever thought about why do we feel different with different people?

We are going to discuss the same in today’s blog! What we feel around people is what we call a “vibe”. A person with good vibes will make you feel good about yourself and also about him/her, the same is the case with someone whose vibes aren’t good. I think nobody has a bad vibe, because a person whose vibe is bad for you might be good for another, and hence let’s say the person has a vibe different from you or that it doesn’t match yours.

You might be thinking why am I stressing so much on vibes? Do they even matter and if they do then how? VIBES MATTER, PERIOD! And you should never ignore them. The vibe is an emotional atmosphere; you cannot see it but you can feel it. Gut feeling/ intuition and vibes are basically your body’s way of telling you if you should invest your time and energy in a person or not and therefore you should never ignore them. You might think the person is good for you, but the vibes might be otherwise; In that case, listen to the vibe because energy doesn’t lie. Observing the vibe and working accordingly can save you a lot of mental trouble that you might get into, and without any second thoughts, your mental health should be a priority for you, don’t ever sacrifice your mental peace for anyone, because anyone/anything that costs you your mental peace is too expensive. “Choose peace over pieces”.

Your energy is expensive, use it wisely; don’t waste it on people who can’t respect it. Silence speaks in vibes, not sentences. So, stop repeating yourself to those who continue to dis your warning signals. Walk away from anything that gives you bad vibes. There is no need to explain or make sense of it. It's your life. Do what makes you happy.

Your vibe is just a reflection of the kind of person you are and when you meet people who resonate with the same vibe you feel good and familiar. Vibes change as people change. But did you know you can attract your kind of people by resonating your kind of vibes Let me explain to you, the energy you emit as a person is very important because that is going to be the energy of your present life and will attract similar people.

Trust me and do an experiment, for a month believe that the people who are there in your life are amazing, respectful, and loyal towards you, believe it from your heart and they’ll turn out to be pretty amazing. You will be surprised how your one thought did wonders, but the truth is the thought didn’t do any wonder, energy did; yes, that’s the power of energy. The kind of energy you give is the kind of energy you receive.

If you are someone who cribs about people all day long, I bet you are someone who cribs about his/her own life all day long too. Why? Because you have mastered judging others, ignoring their positive side, and gossiping about the negative one, and that is exactly what you are doing with your life. People are good, life is good; only If you have eyes to see it that way. For instance, tell me when you praise someone do you feel happy inside or sad? I am sure, the answer is happy. Why happy? Because the kind of energy you give out to someone is also the kind of energy the universe returns you. The thoughts are deep and that’s because understanding these can help you change your life in a good way.


So, if you want to be someone who resonates good vibes, and you want people to be happy around you, then here’s what you can do: -

1. Give your friend a genuine compliment.

2. Offer one of your earbuds and listen to an uplifting playlist together.

3. Share that random story or joke, to lighten up the mood.

4. Try to maintain good body language.

5. Ever noticed someone sitting all alone in some corner of the cafe? Don’t hesitate to go and share a table with him/her. (only if they are welcoming)

6. Noticed someone struggling with laces while strolling down the park? Bend down and tie his/her laces.

7. Greet your co-worker with a lively high-five or some sassy strange gesture.

8. Sometimes a hug speaks eons.

9. Also, at times, it is best to be less ‘mysterious’ and instead be an intent listener.

10. Try to understand him/her, when nobody does.

11. Be a little less judgemental and much more understanding.

There is so much to see in this world, but it all depends on how you choose to look at it. There’s a saying, “Maano toh Ganga maa hai, na maano toh behta paani” and that is what goodness is in today’s world!
